Learn about the basic principles of photography during a two-hour course is perfect for the novice photographer who wants to broaden their knowledge on focusing, composing, and capturing the perfect photo. The Instructor will incorporate a mix of classroom discussion and hands-on practice both indoors and outdoors. Students will receive personal attention in a small group setting. Bring a camera; digital SLR recommended, but any camera, even a smart phone, may be used during the workshop. Meet at the outdoor amphitheater across the street from the library.

Learn the fundamentals of blocking, shaping, and trimming a wool felt hat base. A variety of shapes can be achieved using vintage and new hat blocks.
