The Malibu Library Speaker Series is a program of the Malibu Library and the City of Malibu that features experts, authors, and other notable figures discussing a wide range of subjects, including the entertainment industry, literature, science, motivation, the arts, education, sports, travel, food, and the environment.

The Malibu Library Speaker Series presents Mohammed AL Samawi, interfaith activist, refugee, and author on Wednesday, February 26, at 7:00 PMat the Malibu Library. RSVPs are required. 

About the Speaker
Mohammed AL Samawi, author of The Fox Hunt: A Refugee's Memoir of Coming to America, is committed to the exchange of core values, religious traditions, and advancing the work of interfaith
organizations. His interfaith organization "Abrahamic House" aims to build sustainable faith learning and action across Muslim, Jewish, and Christian communities to foster an environment of learning, respect, and social change. During his presentation, he will speak on interfaith organizations, his past work, and experience as a refugee in America.
