The Community Services Department is pleased to announce the 2023 Student Art Exhibit. Children in grades TK to 12 will display artwork at the Malibu City Gallery until Friday, March 3, 2023. The exhibit provides a forum that fosters creativity among student artists, educators, and the Malibu community. 

ARTWORK SUBMISSIONS

Due to the high volume of submissions, the online form to submit artwork for the 2023 Student Art Exhibit is closed.  Please add yourself or your child to the waitlist, and City staff will reach out to you if space becomes available in the Malibu City Gallery.  Submitting this form does not guarantee the artwork will be in the Exhibit.  Priority will be given to families that live in Malibu and/or attend a school in Malibu.  

The artwork will be accepted at the following locations January 18 - 22 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

ARTWORK HANGING GUIDELINES

Artwork must be matted or framed and include a firmly fixed backing with a secure hanging mechanism.  For framed artwork, remove the glass front. Weight should be under two pounds. Framed artwork is preferred. It may be altered if the artwork does not include a secure hanging mechanism.
