The City of Malibu and Heal the Bay are requesting volunteers to participate in Coastal Cleanup Day 2023 at Westward Beach on Saturday, September 23 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. We invite you to join us and volunteer to make an impact. 

Volunteers of all ages are welcome; anyone under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Students can earn three volunteer hours. Be sure to sign the online waiver and bring the email confirmation or a signed paper waiver. Sign up to volunteer on Eventbrite at tinyurl.com/MalibuBeachCleanup2023

In an effort to protect the environment and create a zero-waste beach cleanup, we request that volunteers:

• Bring a bucket or bag to collect beach rubbish
• Bring reusable garden gloves to pick up trash
• Walk, bike, carpool, or use public transportation to the site
• Bring filled reusable water bottles
• Bring sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses)

The event is located near the Westward Beach restroom at 6600-6798 Westward Beach Rd, Malibu, CA 90265. Sign in at the pop up tents.
