At the Malibu Chamber of Commerce's annual State of the City Address on Friday, May 10 at City Hall, Mayor Jefferson Wagner presented a video highlighting the City's achievements, milestones and challenges over the last year.
Malibu Mayor Jefferson “Zuma Jay” Wagner discussed the City’s major events, highlights and achievements over the last year, the state of the City’s finances, and upcoming major projects and issues that will define the year ahead during the Malibu Chamber of Commerce’s 35th Annual State of the City address on Friday, May 10 at Malibu City Hall.
Mayor Wagner was joined by Los Angeles County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl and California State Senator Henry Stern giving updates on current and upcoming local, county and state issues that impact the Malibu community. Barbara Bruderlin, Executive Director of the Malibu Chamber of Commerce and Chamber Chairwoman Lenise Soren discussed the Chamber’s work with the Malibu business community.
The free State of the City was attended by more than 200 guests, including community members, business and civic leaders, representatives from schools, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and houses of worship.
