Malibu Community Recovery Workshop, Aug. 6 at City Hall
All community members and businesses impacted by the Franklin or Palisades Fires are invited to join the City's Community Recovery Workshop on Wednesday, August 6, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Malibu City Hall.
As part of the City’s ongoing efforts to do everything possible to support our community’s recovery, this in-person workshop will provide critical updates, resources, and support services for residents and small business owners.
The event begins with opening remarks from the City of Malibu, followed by a debris removal update from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Presentations will be provided by Malibu Urgent Care, the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu, and the L.A. County Economic Development Corporation, the Malibu Community Long-Term Recovery Group, and the Malibu Community Brigade Program.
The workshop will also include personal testimonials from Woolsey Fire survivor families, a Q&A, open discussion, and community building opportunities.
All are welcome to attend and take part in Malibu’s ongoing recovery and community rebuilding efforts.
