DROP OFF YOUR HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE (HHW) AND E-WASTE AT THE COLLECTION EVENT ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 16, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM AT MALIBU CITY HALL
Malibu, properly disposing of HHW and electronic waste is an important way to protect our environment and keep hazardous materials out of our local waterways, canyons, and landfills. Come drop off your HHW and e-waste to be recycled and safely disposed of at the collection event on August 16!
SATURDAY, AUGUST 16
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Malibu City Hall, Upper Parking Lot
Accepted materials include:
- Water-based paint (maximum 15 gallons or 125 lbs. per trip)
- Used motor oil
- Antifreeze
- Automotive & household batteries
- Compact fluorescent bulbs (unbroken)
- Electronics
All containers must be clearly labeled to identify contents. Participants are strongly encouraged to remain in their vehicles during drop-off.
