No construction work will take place on Monday (Feb. 16) due to the holiday — however, traffic control restrictions on Topanga Canyon remain in effect.
๐ Pacific Coast Highway (PCH)
๐ Temescal Canyon Rd (Pacific Palisades) to Carbon Beach Terrace (Malibu)
Current Conditions:
• Reduced speed (35 mph) between Temescal Canyon Rd & Sunset Blvd
• Active work zone (25 mph) from Sunset Blvd to Carbon Beach Terrace
• Single-lane closures possible 9 a.m.–3 p.m., Tuesday–Friday
Ongoing Work Includes:
• Fire damage roadway repairs
• Bridge, drainage & slope repairs
• Edison trenching operations (daytime, overnight & weekend lane closures)
• Retaining & catchment wall construction
Expect delays. Plan extra travel time and consider alternate routes.
Topanga Canyon Blvd (SR-27)
๐ PCH to Grand View Drive
• Closed to the public midnight–5 a.m. daily (including the holiday)
• One-way traffic control with pilot car 5 a.m.–midnight daily
• Additional one-way control for Edison trenching 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Tue–Fri
