Halloween Drive-In Movie Series Hosted by the Malibu Film Society and Sponsored by the City of Malibu
The City of Malibu is sponsoring two Halloween drive-in movie nights hosted by the Malibu Film Society on October 30 and October 31. The fun, family-friendly, COVID-19 safe movie screenings will take place outdoors at the Chili Cookoff site located on the corner of Stuart Ranch Road and Civic Center Way. Advanced registration is required.
Both movies begin at 7:00 PM and will be shown on a three-story outdoor movie screen.
• Friday, October 30: The Nightmare Before Christmas, 1993 rated PG
• Saturday, October 31: Ghostbusters, 1984 rated PG
Attendees are encouraged to support local restaurants by pre-ordering boxed dinners. Sweet Bu Candy Company will also sell pre-ordered customized Halloween movie night treats. There will not be any food or beverages sold on site.
Attendees must adhere to posted COVID-19 safety guidelines, including requirements of wearing face coverings and maintaining a 6-foot physical distancing from others.
