Malibu City Hall Will Host an 11-Day Vote Center Starting October 25 for the 2025 California Statewide Special Election
The City of Malibu will host an 11-day Vote Center at Malibu City Hall starting October 25 for the upcoming California Statewide Special Election on Tuesday, November 4.
Ballots Sent by Mail to All Registered Voters in California
The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder’s office started mailing vote-by-mail ballots to all active registered voters on October 6, 2025. Ballots submitted by mail must be postmarked by Election Day, November 4, and received by the LA County Elections Office no later than November 12. In-Person Voting (Vote Centers)
Early in-person voting can be done at any Regional Vote Center in LA County. The 11-day Vote Centers are open Saturday, October 25 through Election Day, Tuesday, November 4. Four-day Vote Centers are open November 1 through Election Day November 4. Voters may register to vote and get ballots in-person at Vote Centers up to and including on Election Day.

Voter Registration Deadline
Voters complete a conditional voter registration application and vote in-person at any Vote Center in LA County, including at City Hall.
