Metro is holding a public workshop to get community input and discuss its NextGen Bus Study about future bus service in Malibu and throughout the region on Tuesday, April 9, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at Malibu City Hall (23825 Stuart Ranch Rd., Malibu CA 90265). Community members are encouraged to drop-in anytime between 6-7:30 PM and share suggestions to improve the bus system including bus routes, frequencies, days and times of operation. Everyone who attends will receive a free Metro TAP card, while supplies last. Light refreshments will be served.
LA County’s bus network carries over 70% of Metro’s riders, but hasn’t had a significant update in 25 years. Metro is currently designing an updated modern bus network that is more relevant, reflective of, and attractive to the residents of LA County. The new bus Service Plan is anticipated for rollout in December 2019. Come share your ideas, feedback and ask questions! For more information, visit https://www.metro.net/projects/nextgen/.
