Dial-A-Ride Transportation Services Available for Malibu residents

The City of Malibu is proud to support community mobility through the Dial-A-Ride program, operated by the Malibu Senior Center. This reliable and affordable transportation service helps older adults and residents with disabilities maintain independence and access essential destinations throughout the area.

Eligibility

Dial-A-Ride services are available to:

  • Adults 55 years of age and older
  • Residents of all ages living with disabilities
  • Individuals residing within Malibu city limits

Service Destinations & Fares

  • Malibu Senior Center: $1.00
  • Within Malibu City Limits: $2.00
  • Outside City Limits: $4.00

Passengers may schedule up to three one-way trips per day within the Malibu area and one round-trip per day for destinations outside city limits.

Days & Hours of Operation

Dial-A-Ride operates Monday through Thursday from 8AM to 5PM and Friday from 8AM to 4PM. Service is not available on weekends or on the following City-observed holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • Presidents’ Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Juneteenth
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Veterans Day
  • Thanksgiving Day (and the day after)
  • Christmas Day
