Comprehensive Fee Study and Cost Allocation Plan
On February 9, 2015, the Council approved an agreement with ClearSource Financial Consulting for a Comprehensive Fee Study and Cost Allocation Plan. The goals of the Fee Study were to conduct a comprehensive review of the City’s fees, identify the total cost of providing fee-related services, recommend appropriate fees and charges with appropriate subsidy percentages, if applicable, and provide the City with a report that identifies the correct fee amounts based on the cost of providing the service and the direct and indirect overhead costs. ClearSource was requested to review all fees and recommend a simplified fee structure. Completion of the Comprehensive Fee Study and Cost Allocation Plan resulted in changes including the elimination and consolidation of certain fees.
